Sanjaya Malakar might have been booted off American Idol [FINALLY], but he's already got a new gig. People magazine has secured Sanjaya to be their guest at this year's
White House Correspondents' Association dinner. Sanjaya has been one of the worst singers on the popular singing show since it's start. He earned his 15 minutes of fame mostly by being the subject of some clever, if nasty attention, like
votefortheworst.com, to campaigned to boot him off. Sanjaya is the third idol in the last few years that
People magazine has hosted as a guest. Last year it was
Ace Young and in 2005 it was Constantine Maroulis.
