Over 200 camels have died of a mystery ailment in Saudi Arabia. King Abdullah has promised compensation to the owners of the camels, who say the real number of deaths is actually higher. Ministry officals are blaming the deaths on bad feed supply.
Camels are big business in the desert kingdom and are traded by Bedouin tribes for thousands of dollars each. The animals are used for racing and their meat is also prized.Source: reuters.com
