alli: Miracle diet pill with teeny-tiny side effect

I think they had me at "You will spray oil when you fart." Apparently, this new diet pill will block your body from absorbing oil, so it just comes out, anytime you are near a toilet. Lovely.

Website Bullshit (WSBS): You may get:

* gas with oily spotting,

* loose stools

* more frequent stools that may be hard to control

No BS: The following things will happen to you:

* You will spray oil when you fart

* You will have diarrhoea

* You will be shitting constantly and you will lose control of your bowels to the point where you shit your pants

A lower-potency version of the prescription drug Xenical, it blocks your body from absorbing about 25 percent of the fat that you eat. (In a diet of 3,000 calories and 100 grams of fat, this would knock out about 225 calories.)

The Price is Right for Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie wants Bob Barker's old job, this according to a posting on her blog. Apparently, she is meeting the producers of the show this week to chat about whether or not this is a possibility. Rosie says she loves the show. CBS and FremantleMedia North America have been trying to find a replacement for Barker for a while. Mark Steines of "Entertainment Tonight," and George Hamilton have all been reportedly contacted for the gig.

The 45-year-old said on her blog recently that she was meeting with the "Price" people this week and that she "sure would" accept the job if they offer.

Sewage flows down aisles of trans-Atlantic flight

This one's a stinker...

He also says the flight attendants - who were serving meal service in a stinky, unappetizing cabin - told everyone to not eat or drink too much.

Moscow ranks as world's priciest city

Moscow is the world's most expensive city the second year in a row. This according to a survey by Mercer Human resource Consulting, which ranked 143 cities around the world and compared them in over 200 areas such as housing, transportation and food. How expensive is expensive? Well, if you're an expat living in Moscow, you'll pay at least $4,000 a month to rent a two-bedroom apartment, you can expect to pay at least $5.00 for a fast food hamburger and a CD will set you back roughly $25.00. What's the least expensive city for the fifth year in a row? Paraguay's capital, Asuncion, where the cost of living is half that of New York.

The cost of living for expatriates in the Russian capital is nearly 35 percent higher than in New York,

Black Hawk 221 Board of Inquiry

The horrific video of an Australian Black Hawk helicopter crashing last November in Fiji has been released. In the video, you can see the massive helicopter just hitting the concrete surface of the landing area and bouncing off of the tarmac. At the time of the accident, the Black Hawk was carrying four crew and six soldiers from the Special Air Service Regiment when it crashed and sank. The pilot Captain Mark Bingley was killed and one of the passengers Joshua Porter was initially missing and presumed dead. Watch the video after the break.

The Australian Defence Force (ADF) says at least one Army personnel member has died in a Black Hawk helicopter crash near Fiji.

Sandcastle festival a total washout

Berlin's International Sand Sculpture Festival is an annual spectacle that draws worldwide media coverage. But this year it seems the coverage this event needs is not from the media, but from a huge rainstorm that has almost washed the event away. The downpour created large puddles around the towers of sand castles, as carvers struggled to protect hours of hard work with plastic sheeting. The exhibition is expected to be open to the public on June 29th.

As the rain pours down in Britain, spare a thought for those coping with a similar deluge in Berlin - home to the annual International Sand Sculpture Festival.
