At a press conference today, DC Madame, Deborah Jeane Palfrey issued a statement in regards to ABC News disclosing the name of one of her clients on Friday. ABC News named Former Deputy Secretary of State Randall L. Tobias, as a customer of Palfrey's escort service.
Palfrey says her and her attorney, Mr. Montgomery Sibley tried everything they could for five months to maintain the confidentiality of the names of her clients. It was only after government officials refused "to reconcile the matter fairly" that she decided to utilize the records for her defense. Mr. Tobias, Harlan K. Ullman and several others have been named to date.
Ms. Palfrey adamantly disputes the government’s claims of illegal behavior. The business, Pamela Martin and Associates, functioned as a high-end adult fantasy firm which offered legal sexual and erotic services across the spectrum of adult sexual behavior and did so without incident during its 13 year tenure.
