Italian priest BLOWS his cover

An Italian priest has been sentenced for over three years in jail for possessing cocaine with the intentions of selling it. Italian police arrested Father Stefano Ciacca, 44, last September after they found about a pound of the powdery substance in his apartment.

[That's worth about $675,000 on the streets.]

The priest claimed that the package was given to him by someone who he was helping "on a spiritual path," but investigators claim he traveled to Columbia with a friend and had the stuff mailed back to him by post.

The priest claimed to be unaware of the contents of the package, which he said was given to him by someone he was helping "on a spiritual path."
