Gawker is reporting that an explosion happened in front of the Conde Nast building in New York. No injuries have been reported and witnesses say several manhole covers may have blown due to an "overheated grid."

Revamped: Britney and her website undergo overhaul

Britney Spears is still in rehab (thanks to the efforts of her mom, and K-Fed) and now her website is getting a make-over. The homepage of Spear's official website has an old picture of Britney, spread across a yellow background in a pair of tiny shorts and an eve tinier top. She definitely doesn't look like this anymore.

When was this taken? Three years ago? Her body doesn't even look human! Photoshop Galore!

Jessica Simpson Donates Car to Orphanage

Singer Jessica Simpson has donated a minivan she won at MTV's music awards to Casa Hogar-- a Mexican orphanage. She will also auction off a red dress on Ebay that she wore during her Pizza Hut commercial with proceeds going to the same charity. On that note, a Pizza Hut rep confirmed to Elle magazine that Jessica is actually allergic to pizza, well she's allergic to the cheese, tomatoes, peppers and wheat that's on the pizza, so she doesn't actually eat their products.

The 26-year-old won a Chrysler Crossfire sports car at the show and asked the car company if she could exchange it for a minivan for the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo.

Britney Back in Rehab: third time the lucky charm?

Britney Spears is back in rehab, after her ex Kevin Federline threatened to take action and the kids if she didn't try to get help. TMZ reports that she showed up at Federline's house to see the kids, but he wouldn't let her in. There are photos and video of her from X17online.com smashing K-Fed's car with an umbrella, and then going after the papparazzi. It's so sad. They're obviously taunting her. I wish they just leave her alone.

Britney is out of rehab again, less than 24 hours after she checked into a Malibu facility. Sources also report that she shaved her head because she was afraid that her ex-husband wanted to find out what she's been up to. As well, some other tabloids are reporting that she had lice.

After a weekend of shaving her head bald and getting more tattoos, Britney Spears is back in rehab. TMZ.com says she checked herself in to an undisclosed facility today.

TMZ has learned Britney Spears is back in rehab. Sources say the singer has checked into an in-patient facility in Los Angeles.

Is "scrotum" a word 10 year olds should not read?

At first glance, The Higher Power of Lucky, a children's book written by Susan Patron seems to be a typical children's book. It's even this year's winner of the Newbery Medal, which is one of the most prestigious awards for an author's contribution to American Children's Literature. Yet it's causing quiet a stir within the academic community. Why? Because on the first page of the book, the word "scrotum" appears. The book's heroine, a 10-year-old orphan named Lucky hears the word through another character that says he saw a "rattlesnake bite his dog, Roy on the scrotum." The book has been banned in some libraries across the U.S. while the debate continues online, questioning the role of librarians when selecting or censoring literature for children.

Tom Brady, QB for the New England Patriots and Bridget Moynahan, (actress) are expecting their first baby. The problem is they're not together anymore and he's been frolicking in Paris with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Brady is 29, and Moynahan is 36.

She and Brady dated for two years before breaking up in December.

J-Lo Booed at Berlinale

Jennifer Lopez's indie movie " Bordertown" was NOT received well at the Berlin International Film Festival. In fact, the audience booed the film and showed no love to J-Lo, who appeared to be visibly upset. Some German reporters expressed concern that the film is coming out at the same time as her new album. In Bordertown, (director Gregory Nava) Lopez plays a reporter investigating a series of murders in the Mexican city of Ciudad Juarez.

However the film is also "pretty distasteful" at the same time: the critic accuses J-Lo of exploiting the real suffering of the Mexican women in order to become a star in the Central American market.

Anna Nicole Smith's Will Released

Anna Nicole Smith's will was released today to the public. In the 2001 document, Vickie Lynn Marshall states that her estate go to her only child, Daniel Wayne Smith and that Howard K Stern is to execute her will. It didn't say where the former reality star wanted to be buried. Stern wants to her to buried beside her son in the Bahamas, but her mother is requesting that she be buried in Texas. Currently her body is being held in Florida until further decisions are made to DNA testing.

Game's on baby!

Popular fashion magazines like Seventeen and Cosmopolitan are going online with some of their game features. Arkadium Inc.a a game developer has partnered with Hearst Corp. to develop online games that cater to a more adult audience. I like Seventeen's "Editor Assistant," game where players will get to pitch story ideas to the Editor-in-Chief and they will have to complete certain tasks to win. My favourite game concept though is probably Cosmopolitan's "Boy Toy" game, which will allow players to control a virtual boy, so he can keep his girlfriend satisfied.

Seventeen's site, for instance, will have a game called "Editor's Assistant," where users play the role of an assistant to Seventeen's editor in chief and have to complete certain tasks to win. In coming months, the developer will move to Hearst's adult-skewing titles. Cosmopolitan's "Boy Toy" allows players to control a virtual "boy toy" and try to keep his girlfriend satisfied. The game ends when the girlfriend breaks up with her boyfriend or stays in the relationship for one year.
