Disney stubs out smoking from its films

The decision by Disney to phase out smoking in its films is a first for a Hollywood studio. The decision came after the Motion Picture Association of America, announced that it would rate films not only based on sex and violence, but also smoking.

Disney plans to add public service announcements to DVDs of any future films with smoking scenes and said it would work with cinema owners to show anti-smoking announcements.
