Argentina's capital, Buenos Aires has NOT seen snow in over 89 years, until now. A cold snap has caused temperatures to drop to -22Celsius (-8 Farenheit) in some parts of the country, while snow fell for hours on some parts of the city.
Bitterly cold weather in May caused some 20 deaths and forced the Argentine authorities to ration supplies as the country's energy system came under strain.Source: news.bbc.co.uk
